No Joining Fee at Wenvoe Castle Golf Club

WENVOE CASTLE GOLF CLUB. COURSE CLOSED THIS WEEKEND SATURDAY & SUNDAY 16TH-17TH JANUARY

    I have inspected the course today (Friday 15th Jan.) with the green-staff and unfortunately there is no chance of it being playable this weekend. The snow is gradually melting but leaving a saturated course that is difficult to walk on let alone play. Please rest assured that the course will be open as soon as it is possible to play safely and without causing any permanent damage to the playing surface.

Here are afew photographs of the River Taff and neighbouring Pontcanna fields to illustrate the effect of the melting snow.

The next inspection of the course will be Monday at 8am lets keep our fingers crossed.
